::: EverQuest Programs :::

On this page you will not find programs that will allow you to hack EverQuest. Although all of the programs here have been scanned with PC-Cillin for viruses, I cannot take any responsibility for your computer being damaged, engulfed in flames, or becoming possessed. Download at your own risk. I, in no way, created these programs so please do not e-mail me asking how to work them. Enjoy.

Program

Description

Sneaky Amp
Control WinAmp from within Everquest. This is a download must for anybody that enjoys music.
EQu
Originally created to be an easy way to tweak your eqclient.ini file (handles your in game text colors and such), this program has now evolved into one of the best tools for Everquest. The program is not hosted here but clicking on the link will take you to the author's website.
EQ Trade Skills & Research
Created by Xekl Xephyre of Xegony, this spreadsheet is a download must. Simply loaded with all kinds of trade and research info as well as wizard spell damage info. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
EQ Sound Ripper
Created by Kaboom of the Saryn server, this neat little proggy will extract the bitmaps and the wav files from your Everquest directory. I've always extracted them the tedious way.. but now you can bet this is what I'll be using!
EQ Log Parser
This has to be the best log parser available. If you run a LAN, this parser will even automatically update itself at a user defined interval. I run it on a laptop next to me and it keeps me up to date with things like how much damage I have done to a certain mob per second, it has graphs, pie charts, simply an excellent example of what can be learned from your log file.
EQ Icons
Created and submitted by Luizito, these are icons based on some Everquest Spell Icons and the such to replace your computer's icons anywhere you wish to.
Research Spreadsheet
Created by Boots at the Crossroads Gaming Network, this Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet will help you keep track of your runes and also tell you what spells you can create with the runes you have. Highly Recommended. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
Practice Spreadsheet
Also created by Boots at the Crossroads Gaming Network, this Microsoft Exel Spreadsheet will help you keep track of your Practice components for research. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
Mana Calulator Executable
An executable program made for Windows that will calculate your current mana points. Fill in the blanks with your current information and have it calculate how much mana you have to spend. This program requires you to have the virtual basic dynamic link file msvbvm60.dll within your windows\system directory.
Item Bonus Calculator
This spreadsheet is in MS Excel 97/95 format. It is used to calculate item bonuses to stats, AC, mana, and HP. Very nice little spreadsheet. Thanks to Baks of Veeshan for creating this and sending it in.
EQ Caster
A great utility to look at the spell data found within your Everquest directory (spdat.eff). The author keeps up on the program very steadily. Keep in mind when reading the data that some data is false. Verant doesn't put the exact info in the spdat.eff file and server side info is totally different. Do not trust all that you read. The link is just a link to the author's site because he always has new projects going on. Keep up the good work Vaslin!
EQ Monitor
The ever popular Everquest Server Status Monitor. This keeps an eye on the servers and zones and will automatically start Everquest when your selected server comes back online. I personally have not used it since beta. Unlike that Godforsaken game Ultima Online, Everquest's servers are rarely down. They frequently update this program so rather than putting it upon my server, I simply added a URL to Hydra Computers Everquest page.
Mana / Int Spreadsheet
Itzokae Blastenburn of Cazic-Thule made an Excel spreadsheet which calculates the mana bonuses gained from intelligence bonuses by level and a chart which tells how much of an intelligence increase is needed to equal the mana bonus of an item by level. The latter chart makes it a bit easier to determine the point at which to switch from mana+ items to intelligence+ items. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
Mana / Damage Spreadsheet
This spreadsheet can make a comparison of mana available and damage possible with that mana, for two different Wizard's Intelligence. Changing cells B4 and D4, you can compare your abilities with your current and your intended ( or you friend's :) Intelligence. This spreadsheet requires you to have Microsoft Excel upon your system and an unzipping program such as WinZip to unpack it. Spreadsheet compiled by Nenad of Cazic Thule. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
Mana/Weapon Damage Calc 3.5
Very well written executable for Mana Calculations with the added benefeit of calculating our melee damage! If you have any problems getting it to run, you may be needing system files.
Inventory INT/Mana Spreadsheet
Simple Excel spreadsheet with a unique feature of allowing you to edit each slot for each item you may have (or not have) that adds to INT or mana. A good way to figure out what is the best combination of items once you hit 200 INT. Thanks to Zypher of Rodcet Nife for creating this. If you don't have MS Excel to view this, you can download a free viewer here.
SFManaCalc
This is a simple mana calculator which lets you calculate your mana, be it on an INT or WIS base calculation, without having to do anything special. The calculator will also display mana for every level from 1 to 50, and depending if your character is a pure caster, or a hybrid class, you will get the appropriate results. Thanks to Rindelk Darkcastyr of Fennnin Ro for creating this great little program.
